We scored 50 independent agencies across five states. Most had a serious blind spot in how families actually search today, on Google, in reviews, and now through AI assistants.

Completeness, categories, photos, review count and velocity, hours, posts, Q and A
Your ranking across a grid of nearby searches for home care in your service area
Page speed, mobile experience, schema markup, service page coverage
Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews name you when a family asks for a recommendation
This is a simplified partial estimate using two inputs. The real scorecard also checks photos, posts, response rate, schema, and how you compare to nearby competitors, and it is the only way to see your Map Pack and AI Visibility standing.

It is a four part audit that scores how findable an agency is where families actually search today: its Google Business Profile, its ranking in the Google Map Pack across nearby searches, the health of its website, and whether AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews name the agency when someone asks for a recommendation.
AEO, answer engine optimization, and GEO, generative engine optimization, describe how a business gets recommended by AI tools instead of just ranking on a search results page. Families increasingly ask ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews for a home care recommendation directly. In our research, about one percent of local businesses nationwide are currently named by AI assistants in these answers, so most independent agencies, even good ones, are simply not showing up in that conversation yet.
Franchise brands have national review volume, consistent schema markup across hundreds of locations, and years of backlinks feeding a single domain. An independent agency is judged entirely on its own signals, which is exactly why most of the fifty independent agencies we scored across Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Minnesota had thin review counts or no live website at all.
Yes. There is no cost and nothing to sign to get the initial scorecard. We send the breakdown directly, without a sales pitch attached.
No. CareVisible works exclusively with independent, non-franchise home care agencies. Franchise visibility is largely inherited from the parent brand, so the same playbook does not apply.
We are currently running free scorecards for independent agencies starting in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Minnesota, as part of an initial research phase, and expanding our research nationally from there.
